Bespoke costumes and accessories


Odelia is a professionally trained costumier and has created bespoke period costumes for museums, film productions, weddings and reenactors around the  world since 1999! Each piece is meticulously researched and created after original garments and patterns in our studio in London. We use modern machines as well as period handwork. We take pride in faithfully reproduced historical clothing and have high standards of authenticity.

Consultations

We will be happy to provide expert advice on all your questions regarding an order. You can contact us via email, make an appointment for a Skype consultation or personal consultation in London. For a period costume consultation we charge a flat fee of £50 (£75 for bridal appointments) which will be deducted from your total invoice amount should you decide to place an order.


Fittings

Due to the nature of our bespoke garments we recommend at least two personal fittings. Fittings usually take place in our West London studio. Fittings on location can be arranged on request (additional fees apply), as well as Skype fittings.


How to order

After your initial appointment we will supply you with sketches and fabric swatches and a first costing. As soon as the details and pricing of the costume have been agreed, a written contract will be sent to you. A deposit will be required to book your slot, as well as an interim payment at the first fitting. The remaining amount will be paid at or around collection.
During the creation of your garment we will keep you updated with reports and pictures on a regular basis, so you can share the excitement of seeing your idea come to life!

Ordering a bespoke bridal gown is a very personal and intimate process. We will be more than happy to help you create the wedding gown of your dreams! We offer the experience of over 20 years and the skills to turn your vision into reality! Specializing in period bridal gowns and corsetry.
